Businesses spend a lot of money on content marketing and brand designing, but you can tell that still, very few make it to the front page of Google Search.
In an article, Forbes.com, Google is becoming more reputed through their Google Authorship, where users can freely move around their Google+ accounts. Search results, and even recommendations, strongly rely on the user’s online behavior, which in turn eliminates those that are deemed insignificant to the user. The same article identified the three elements of being king of the search engine: content, links, and social media.
It further claims that, “any content marketing strategy should employ SEO best practices at its foundation,” projecting that it’s still a long way before its necessity is worn out. In fact, experts posit that observing proper SEO methods will remain to be relevant not only until 2015, but probably even beyond. Add to that a “corresponding strategic content marketing plan” and the strategy is bound to be a success.
Just basic search engine optimizing is no longer enough to be on the front page. Quality content-marketing and SEO is crucial to go hand-in-hand for brands to gain more exposure, and become easily accessible. SEO-based content marketing strategy is, indeed, the new master plan.
